Been a Bit! (Week 79)

Malo e lelei,

Things have been awesome here in Laie. I love it. We started covering another ward in Laie after 3 sisters left to go to the other mission. I love being on the temple grounds everyday! The Spirit of the Lord is so powerful there. Go to the temple!

The Tongan Ward is the best ever. Those are my people, haha. We've seen some amazing miracles lately.

2 weeks ago, on Monday, a family invited us over to their house and they had their niece who hasn't been baptized over as well. We taught her about the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As Joseph Smith's first vision was recited, the Holy Ghost bore record of the Father and the Son. It was amazing! This young lady's grandma had just passed away a couple of months ago and her aunt testified of God’s eternal plan of salvation and how families can be forever! She then accepted a baptismal date! Such a beautiful miracle.

Our second lesson with her she told us how happy she was that she was going back to Church and that she has God in her life again. She also told us how grateful she was to be taught the gospel as well! It was one of the greatest moments of my time as a missionary!

The Tongan Ward Choir sings the most beautiful hymns as well. They brought me to tears, ðŸ¥²haha. The Savior's power through His Atonement is real! Hurrah for Israel!
