7 Months (Week 31)

I hit 7 months. The heck.

Past 2 weeks were crazy haha. This past week I went on exchanges into Honolulu with Elder Hawkes (who was my Zone Leader in Hilo for 6 months) and we went to the UH Campus and it was insane! So many students; so many people to talk too. We went to the middle of the Campus and just talked to as many people as we could. It was wild. Some really cool miracles came from it; it was awesome!

We had a service on Thursday and helped the girl scouts of Hawaii with their cookie deliveries. They drove up and we loaded the boxes into their cars and at one point a U-haul truck came and we loaded $46,800 worth of girl scout cookies into one truck! It was nuts!

During Oahu Zone Conference, our Mission President had all 75+ missionaries go and flood the streets of Honolulu and it was so cool. We saw so many miracles from it!

Taking the Sacrament can be so powerful if we have the faith in Jesus Christ to let it be!

Love you all!

Great week, lots of missionary work!  Love you all, love the gospel, never fall away. We are so blessed to have it in our lives. Let's all make it to the Celestial Kingdom together!

The Hype Train! (Week 28)

Aloha mi amigos! Good week haha. I got on a plane for transfers, so that was fun. I'm now on the island of Oahu! My area that I'm in is so unique because it has spots that look like Lehi Utah, spots that look like the projects in Compton, and spots that are just regular Hawaiian  homesteads. It's quite funny haha, but super weird when I'm in the area that looks like Lehi, Utah because my mind doesn't sit right. On Friday we went in to Honolulu for a meeting at the Tabernacle there and it was a grand time, haha. My perception of places is always so off lol. Oahu is so much different than I thought. My new companion is Elder Barnes from Cottonwood Heights and we are literally twins. We love to workout, have the same build, same haircut, we just look very similar and people always ask if we're twins or brothers. And saying that makes me think about how cool it would actually be to serve a mission with my brothers!

This life can be a good life and we can find the most happiness by living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Growing our faith in Jesus Christ continually, repenting (or changing) through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, taking the sacrament worthily and weekly, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost and listening to promptings from Him, and continually doing this over and over again and keeping covenants and commandments throughout our lives. If we do this we are promised Salvation & Exaltation! That's nuts! Let's all become like God one day!

2 Nephi 31:20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
